A story about wishing
Noa is growing up during a terrible drought. Everything in her world is shades of brown: brown crisp leaves, and bare-boned branches. Noa wants more than anything to experience rain, real rain! Rain that sends goosebumps to hide beneath children’s skin. This is a story about wishing and hoping and the power of positive thought.
Before he could walk, Jakey could fly, out his bedroom he takes to the sky. Through San Francisco in the night, returning to his room, just before daylight. When his eyes open wide, was it all a dream?
